I have been taking Champix since just before Christmas, I got mine from the doctors on perscription, which will carry on for 12 weeks. I smoked when I started low dose of tablets for first week. Only thing I noticed was a funny taste in your throat sometimes. 2nd week I started feeling ill nearly everytime I smoked so I cut down and planned to stop 02/01/09 but still smoked several a day for weekend and finally gave up 05/01/09, I have not had one smoke since and am not craving them just missing the lighting up when bored. I have had very slight cravings but not very strong if you get up and do something. The only thing is any side effects, I have had mild headaches and often feel sick after tablet (with breakfast and evening meal) for about 1 hour and then it is ok.

hi im on these tablets also, im on day 3 today, im feeling abit sick but thats it so far, im still having a cig but they are tasting funny,but still feel like i need one, im keeping my fingers crossed they work.
