I was wondering if anyone has tried hypnosis for anything? My friend tried it to lose weight and it didn't work well at all. I'm hoping that hypnosis would work for smoking. Maybe if someone really believe it could work it will. My friend was a little negative when she went for weight loss and that's why it didn't work with her.

I have not tried hypnosis for anything and I am wary of it. I don't think hypnosis is as safe as it is often portrayed to be. Besides, there are all kinds of crooks out there who will just talk to you and then say it did not work because you had no faith in it.

That's exactly right, if it does not work, there is always the "Well, you didn't believe in it enough" excuse. I have read an article about a hypnosis scam artist, if I find it I'll post it here or as a separate thread.

I tried this one time about 3 years ago and it was successful for about 6 months. But I discovered that unless you can solve the issues that caused you to smoke to begin with then it is no good. Now I just have to find out what that was.

The product I used worked best for me. I didn't feel the need for trying anything else like Hypnotherapy, patches,etc. You can check it out. Its in my signature.
