Hi All,

Well, it's the new year and time to give up.
I've been hiding the fact that I'm smoking from the wife for a while. I never smoked a great deal. Anything from 1 to a max of 10 a day. Strangely, whenever I'm around my better half at the weekends and evenings, I don't smoke.

So, having smoked for years, it's time to give up.

As of 11 days ago I haven't had a cigarette and don't seem to have had a problem going cold turkey.
That is unless you count feeling like I have a terrible head cold as withdrawal. At first I thought I'd had an allergic reaction to something. An unbelievably itchy and runny nose, my eyes are itchy and I feel tired and generally as though I have an appalling head cold.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how long was it before you started to feel better?
Is it something that I should be worried about or my body going through detox?
