iam back doing it again but hopefully i will do it this time iwas here afew months ago on the champix and i cudnt get on with it but i have brought some patches this time i have had them before and was doing okay on them i just let myself down, but i am hoping 2010 is the year for me .
Today is my day one of the patches, i think the best way to help myself this time is not to go out with my mate drinking while on them as that is what has let me down everytime so far!

I'm new here but I wanted to come and give you some support.
Please don't think that you've let yourself down because your previous attempts didn't work. You are obviously committed to making changes and are willing to give things another go. Good for you.
Everyday there are hundreds of people all over the world choosing to stop smoking and they do it. They are just like you and me. If they can do it then you can do it.
This is such a supportive forum full of friendly advice to keep you going. Use everything you can to keep going. And if you fall off the wagon, that's OK too. Don't beat yourself up, just get back on and keep going in the direction of your dreams.
When we learn to walk as babies, we don't give up the first time we try to take a step and fall over. We would never learn to walk. We fall on our bottom, laugh, get up again and put one foot in front of the other. We keep going until we make it.
You can do this!! I believe you can because I did it and if I can do it then it's possible for anyone to do it. Please don't be hard on yourself it just adds to the pressure. Just decide you are going to be successful and that you don't have to do it all in one day. Take your time and achieve your dream.

Thank you for your surport iam proud to say it has now been 9 weeks today , i must confess i have had two naughty days but when i think about it whats two days in 9 weeks nothing its the whole part of the stopping process, and like my fella said its okay because i got myself back on track it was just an off day am bound to get them,
but iam happy a couple of off days it better than fags everyday!
