Has anyone used the patch? What brand? Did it help? My father was considering it when he tried to quit smoking, but he chose candy instead.

My wife used the patch to stop, it worked great for her! Didn't do anything for me, I am going to try the chewing gum. Be careful with the patches, read the directions first, they can cause problems if used incorrectly.

I have heard that it differs from person to person, works for one but might not do much for another, just as you say WaffleStomp. Some people need stuff in their mouth, like candy or gum, to relieve cravings.

I think this is the only other thing I have not tried. I heard so many people fail using these, that I have been reluctant to use them myself for that same reason.

I don't know anyone personally that the patch had helped but then again I only knew 3 people who have used it. I do suggest the hard candy though because that does help with cravings a little bit.
